Barbering or Cosmetology Apprenticeship Program
(1500 hours per program)
Course Summary:
The Vocational College offers training for licensure in Barber-styling and Cosmetology separately. Students will receive training in the following areas while pursuing licensure:
· Men/Women’s Haircutting
· Hairstyling
· Chemical Texture Services
· Shaving (Straight Razor)
· Scalp Treatments
· Salesmanship
· Hair coloring
· And more...
Upon successfully completing the program and passing the state board exam, students will receive their license and will be eligible to practice as a professional barber or cosmetologist.
Class Availability: 12-18 month schedules available Monday - Friday.

SUMMER SPECIAL
Beauty Culture Educator Program-1000 Hours
Course Summary:
The Vocational College offers the Instructors Program for the beauty culture educator program for practitioners that already have a barber, cosmetology, manicurist, or esthetician license. The curriculum is aligned according to state standards and requires 1,000 clock hours of in-person development in training others to become professional practitioners in the hair industry. Training will also include the administrative and operational aspects of a beauty culture educator with educator coaching in the following areas:
· Hairstyling
· Haircutting
· Chemical Texture Services
· Hair-coloring
· Makeup
· Manicuring
· Pedicuring
· Skin Care
· Mani/Pedi
Upon successfully completing the program with 1,000 clock hours and passing the state board exam, students will receive their license and will be eligible to practice as a professional beauty culture educator.

Pharmacy Technician Program-3-6 Month Program
Course Summary:
Students will gain knowledge of various types of prescriptions and learn the difference in retail or hospital pharmacy settings. Successful completion of the program will result in state licensure. NO ADDITIONAL TESTING AFTER COMPLETION OF PROGRAM REQUIRED.

Nail Technology Program-450 Hours
Course Summary:
The Vocational College offers training for licensure in Nail Technology and provides hands-on guidance in the following areas:· Manicuring, pedicuring, nail techniques, artificial nail application via acrylics, gel, silk wraps and more. Upon successfully completing the program and passing the state board exam, students will receive their license and will be eligible to practice as a professional manicurist.
Class Availability: Schedules available on a case-by-case basis Monday - Friday
